ULFR's research agenda is planned, not performed. No field studies are active, no data has been collected, and no results are claimed. This page describes what is being prepared — and how it will be conducted.
A matter of institutional policy: ULFR will never present planned research as active research, or aspirations as findings. Every programme below carries its honest status. When studies begin, methods, ethics approvals and — in time — results will be published here.

GPS/satellite telemetry for suitable wolf individuals subject to veterinary, ethical and legal approval; lightweight raven telemetry only where scientifically justified and demonstrably welfare-compatible.
Movement correlation, feeding association, alarm behaviour, recognition, social learning and possible information exchange.
Numbers, survival, dispersal and recruitment — the demographic baseline against which protection is judged.
How wildlife uses landscapes across seasons and disturbance regimes, informing stewardship, corridor and road-risk evaluation.
The social and economic conditions under which wildlife and communities share land over the long term.
Water retention, deadwood processes, native vegetation and habitat heterogeneity — measured over decades, not seasons.
ULFR intends to work with universities and research institutes under formal agreements, with shared methodological standards and published ethics frameworks.
Telemetry is subject to veterinary, ethical and legal approval. Lightweight raven equipment only where demonstrably welfare-compatible. Animals remain wild; there is no enclosure model.
Camera traps, acoustic monitoring, remote sensing, field observation and environmental data — with study designs and ethics approvals published before data collection begins.
AI-assisted pattern detection is an analytical tool, never a substitute for biological interpretation. Results may confirm, weaken or reject the original hypotheses — and will be reported either way.
